Here we provide a short video of an outreach activity that the Munson lab has provided at past in-person events. A brain made of gelatin is pre-made and provided. Then using injections of colored dye, the role of fluid flow and fluid dynamics in the brain can be observed. Resection of tumors made of Play-Doh can be performed to show just how hard neurosurgery can be. Lastly, drug delivery and radiation for brain tumors can be performed.
