Invited by Russell Rockne and the Computational Oncology group at City of Hope, Jenny presented on our work on interstitial fluid flow in the tumor microenvironment. It was an engaging 2 days of discussion with clinicians, mathematicians, and trainees about the role of interstitial fluid flow in cancers. Great ideas all around and a great time to visit LA while Blacksburg got 16 inches of snow!
On Friday, March 2nd, Dr. Rebecca Pompano and her graduate student Megan from UVa visited us at Virginia Tech to set up an exciting new microfludic device experiment using cultures of brain tissue. Check out the video to see us working together with students from both labs! Science is much more fun when you have great people to work with!
